The Partnership is seeking a Program Director to lead the work of our New Jersey office. The Program Director will be based in the Parsippany, NJ office and should plan to work in the office at least 2 days/week. The Partnership offers a hybrid work model and a collaborative atmosphere of dedicated nonprofit professionals. Key Responsibilities

• eveloping and maintaining relationships with corporations and law firms to encourage their volunteerism and support of the Partnership;
• directing New Jersey client outreach efforts;
• supervising two staff attorneys in the New Jersey office;
• maintaining an active client caseload;
• managing occasional one-day pro bono events;
• teaching educational programs for nonprofit boards and staff;
• and assisting in the preparation of grant applications and related reports.

The Successful Candidate

• JD from an accredited ABA institute and admission to practice in New Jersey;
• A minimum of 8 – 10 years’ experience as a practicing attorney (prior nonprofit, corporate, or employment law expertise preferred);
• Prior experience supervising lawyers;
• Prior experience in the nonprofit sector, either professionally or as a volunteer;
• Passion for the nonprofit sector
• Passion for mentoring staff
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office platform; and
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
